Michael
DOB: 12/30/1999

Michael is a very sweet and quiet young man.  He does not really like to talk too much and it takes a while to open up to someone new.  Michael enjoys doing many activities.  He really likes to be active and run around playing dodge ball and soccer.  He also likes to play on the computer and video games.  His favorite game is Pac-Man!  He also really likes to watch Spongebob.  He enjoys going to the Boys and Girls Club after school so he can participate in all of his favorite activities.  He is doing well in the 4th grade and gets good grades.  He is very interested in art right now and especially learning to paint trees.

Michael also likes to play outside on the street with kids from the neighborhood.  Michael also likes his time to himself and likes to be quiet and work on quiet activities.  He says he will eat anything but broccoli even though his favorite foods are vegetables.  His favorite color is blue and he says he doesn’t like bugs.  Michael visits with his sister every month and would like contact to continue after he is placed in his adoptive home.  Michael wants to be part of a permanent family.  He is open to two parent or single parent homes.  He would do well with kids his age or older.  Michael is not legally free for adoption and all families will be considered for him.

Nephra

Nephra is a young lady who is looking for a permanent home.  She likes to do a lot of different activities.  She likes to watch Animal Planet and cartoons.  She also likes to do arts & crafts projects like coloring, bead work or sewing.  She likes to go out to eat and go to the petting zoo.  She also likes to interact with other kids.  She enjoys learning how to cook and have her hair braided. 

Nephra needs a very dedicated family who has a lot of time, love and attention to give to her special needs.  She would do best in a calm household that follow a routine.  She would also do best as an only child or with older siblings.  Nephra needs a family who will continue to work with her to make progress in all areas. 

Ricky
DOB: 11/5/1998

Ricky is a handsome young man who sometimes likes to be shy and sometimes likes to be rambunctious depending on the day!  Ricky likes to play all types of sports, but especially football and basketball.  In fact Ricky would like to be a professional football play or a sportscaster when he grows up.  Ricky does OK in school and likes gym and speech the best.  He doesn’t really like math or spelling.  Ricky likes to read the Goosebumps series and he likes to watch Spongebob.  Ricky also likes to ride his bike and play outside as much as possible.  He also likes to draw and his favorite colors are gold, silver and blue.  Ricky is a good eater who will at least try something new and he loves pizza, PB&J and Ham & Cheese.

Ricky would like a mom and a dad and older kids in his adoptive home.  He would like a family who maybe has a cat, he’s not so sure about dogs.  He likes being in the small town he is in now, but is willing to look at all areas.  Ricky needs a lot of structure and patience.  Ricky needs a family who will set limits and rules and stick to them and be willing to deal with some negative feedback when he doesn’t get his way.  Ricky needs a smaller school setting and needs an active family.  Ricky is not yet legally free and all families will be considered for him.  

Robert

Robert is a very nice and polite young man.  He is very easy to talk to and can talk about anything.  Robert likes to work with his hands by fixing cars and building things. Robert is a kid who likes to stay active.  He likes to play football and basketball.  He also likes to read and his favorite author is James Patterson.  He also likes the Twilight series.  Robert is also your typical teen when it comes to video games.  He loves to play video games on his Playstation 2.  He likes mostly action games.  He also enjoys listening to music and some of his favorites are LL Cool J and Johnny Cash. 

Robert is doing pretty well in the 10th grade.  He really likes his teacher who he says gives his challenges and makes them want to learn.  He really enjoys math class, but not so much gym class.    He says he will eat anything except sauerkraut.  Robert is anxious for a permanent family.  He needs to be in a home where he is the only child or youngest child.  He would like a two parent family but is open to single parent as well.  He would like to live in the suburbs or a rural area. He says he would like to be in home where he can have his own space.  Robert does not have contact with his birth family right now, but maybe in the future.  He is not yet legally free for adoption and all families will be considered for him.

Samantha
DOB: 6/16/1994

Samantha is a very talkative young lady who knows exactly what she wants in a family.  She would like a single mom or two parent families with other kids, preferably girls in the home.  She would also like a family that has pets and would possibly like to live on a farm so she can help take care of horses. 

Samantha will be entering the ninth grade and does need support at school so a family who can advocate in school for her is important.  She likes to do math, but does not like science or social studies.  She also likes to draw pictures, watch movies and she likes to go out to eat.  She likes to do art activities like scrap booking and drawing.  She also likes to go shopping for clothes and art supplies and she loves to swim in the summertime.  Samantha needs an experienced and dedicated family who will support and stand by her.  A family without younger children is preferred.   

Sierrra

Tellie

Tellie is a very special and adorable young man.  Tellie will need a special family who will be able to take care of him.  Tellie has autism and mental retardation and is non-verbal.  He sometimes says a few words, but mostly makes noises.  Tellie is a very laid back kid who is pretty mellow.  He loves to be around adults and will follow you wherever you go.  One look at Tellie’s smile and you are hooked! Tellie also has some medical needs that a family needs to be able to handle as he will be dealing with them for the rest of his life.  One of his medical needs is that he does have a seizure disorder.  It is well controlled with medication, but they do occur from time to time.  According to his staff, Tellie can recognize when one is coming on and he will make sure he is near an adult to help him. 

Tellie has a favorite blanket from the movie Cars that he loves to snuggle in and carry around with him everywhere he goes.  He also loves the movie Shrek and has a few of the stuffed Shrek dolls that he likes to play with.  He sometimes will watch cartoons, but for the most part does not really have an interest in television.  Tellie is a very sweet and lovable boy who needs a committed and experienced and loving family to take care of him.  All families will be considered for Tellie.
