Pittsburgh Heart Gallery
The Heart Gallery was originated by Diane Granito, an Adoption Recruiter for the state of New Mexico, and opened for the first time in March, 2001. Used as a Child Specific and general recruiting tool, the gallery’s objective is to capture the essence of those children who prove to be more difficult to place. TRAC has enlisted the time and talent of many area photographers to help capture these children. This year TRAC thanks the Ron Richards Studio for their commitment to this project and to the children it serves. The Heart Gallery is a traveling exhibit that is able to be seen throughout the Pittsburgh Community.

Kieron - 9/23/1995
Kieron is a very intelligent young man who loves to swim and play football, basketball and video games. He has a career goal of becoming a plumber. He likes pets and living in the country and he loves to eat ribs. He is very athletic and has a good singing voice.
Peter - 03/04/1993
Peter is a quiet young man who loves to ride his bike and play video games. He does need some extra help with classes in school. His favorite foods are spaghetti and pizza. He enjoys going to school and hanging with his friends. His favorite class is gym.
Michael - 10/23/1992
Michael is a bight young man who loves sports and riding his bike. He has a wonderful personality and loves to talk. He loves being around other people and is very friendly. Michael attends regular classes in school and wants a family who will let him stay in contact with his sister.
Stephanie - 15 years old
Stephanie is a sweet young lady who enjoys helping others who are less fortunate than herself. She is the first to step up and lend a hand when others need help. She loves to be around babies and younger kids. She enjoys nice clothes and shopping for shoes. She is very aware of her appearance and likes to go shopping and wear nice clothes
Christopher - 16 years old
Christopher is a young man with many interests. He enjoys playing and watching sports, especially football and basketball. He also likes playing video games, going fishing, watching movies and listening to music. Christopher has recently showed an interest in learning how to cook. He enjoys most foods but his favorite foods include spaghetti and chicken wings. Christopher is looking forward to finding a forever family that loves sports and will spend time with him doing fun activities.
Alfonzo - 14 years old
Alfonzo is a young boy who wants a family to call his own. He enjoys watching sports and going to games. Alfonzo enjoys watching the Cartoon Network and going to movies as long as they are not scary. He likes reading action books and loves drawing and coloring. Alfonzo also enjoys shopping at the mall and playing games at the arcade. Alfonzo does not enjoy roller coasters, going to the gym or playgrounds. Alfonzo likes animals as long as they do not bite. Some of his favorite foods are french fries, hot dogs, vegetables and spaghetti. He dislikes peaches and most seafood, but does enjoy crabs and shrimp. Alfonzo enjoys traveling to explore new places. Alfonzo enjoys school and does well in his subjects. His favorite subject is history and his least favorite subject is math. When he gets older, Alfonzo wants to be a truck driver so he can have the opportunity to travel while working. He would also like to be an artist. Alfonzo wants a forever family who travels, takes long walks, shops and goes to the movies. He would thrive in a family where he could have a lot of attention and where his interests and abilities are nurtured. His family needs to be patient and understanding while attending to his needs.
Brent - 09/02/1993
Brent is a young man who loves to play video games, watch TV and play sports. He is a quiet young man, but if you get him on a topic he really enjoys, then he opens up. Brent does OK in school and is always working to improve his reading and other subjects in school. Brent likes to do arts and crafts projects and has a talent in drawing. He likes to listen to music of all types and he loves to watch the Steelers play. Brent would do best in a family with few older kids in home and with a family who can give him a lot of time and attention.
