Diana Federici
Ms. Federici will share some of her life experiences from the abuse through healing and "how I got here!" She will take you through her roller coaster ride of treatments, therapists, modalities, safe places, journaling, art work, music, therapists, body work, group work, therapists, family support, safety techniques and...therapists! May you take with you bits of wisdom and ideas to utilize in your work with the children who need you so.

Diana is an adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse and incest who has been dealing with repressed memories for 14 years. An independent artist, she has used jewelry and fabric design to express the evolution of her healing and bring awareness to sexual abuse. Ms. Federici is also a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo with a degree in Occupational Therapy. In addition to her private practice, she has worked with children and adults in a variety of health care settings including hospitals, long term care facilities, educational and residential treatment settings, and home care. In speaking to therapists, it is her hope that she impacts more and more of her peers.
